Children

• Moussa Issa Bookstore can only allow members who are eighteen years and over, as credit card purchases, via a member’s basket, can only be legally binding to adults. We would encourage children to use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

 

Registration

• Moussa Issa Bookstore is open to all viewers to surf, to peruse all the information contained on the site.

• You will be able to purchase books as a guest on the site but for ease of access on future visits to the site we would encourage you to register on the site. However to participate on the site, whether it is to purchase books (ie commercial involvement) or to interact via blogs, comments and reviews (ie community involvement), you will need to firstly register as a member.

 

Signing up as a Member

• When you register with Moussa Issa Bookstore website, you will be required to choose a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details.

• You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. You should change it immediately if you feel it has been compromised.

• When you register you will be requested for your postal residential address.

• This will be used for delivery of any goods ordered via your basket. Please ensure this is address is accessible to the couriers that we will use on your behalf.

• Remember Moussa Issa Bookstore cannot be held liable for books not delivered by the courier due to the courier not being able to find the address, being able to deliver into your hands or safe onto your residential property

 

Commercial Involvement (Purchase of books and use of the Shopping Basket)

• By registering as a member you will gain access to purchase books from the site’s catalogue through the Shopping Basket and read ebook online at discounted price.  Moussa Issa Bookstore desires that your purchase experience be a pleasant one.

• With that in mind please note the following procedure of purchase, including responsibilities and rights.

 

Credit Details:

• You accept responsibility to keep your password safe and to change it should you suspect that it has been compromised

• You accept responsibility to maintain and update your credit details

 

Contract:

• Moussa Issa Bookstore must receive payment for the complete order of books and shipping, before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed. Payment is taken when the order is processed by you.

• Moussa Issa Bookstore will email confirmation that your order has been received to your listed email off your member profile. We will confirm your name, delivery address, order number and the total price.

• Moussa Issa Bookstore acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. A member may not change any part of the contract at this point.

• Any books on the same order from you but not listed on the confirmation email do not form part of this contract. Books where delivery is delayed or where books are now no longer available will be confirmed on a separate email.

 

Books at incorrect price or stock unavailable:

• Moussa Issa Bookstore will endeavour to have up to date and accurate information on the site about the price and stock availability of all titles in the catalogue. This information may not always be correct due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

• Moussa Issa Bookstore reserves the right to withdraw from any contract in the case of unforeseen errors or inaccuracies regarding the books appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will email you with this information as soon as possible.

• This will be to inform you of the correct price of the book and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or with new edition, or to cancel the order altogether.

• Should any book be unavailable, you will be refunded as soon as possible but not later than twenty working days of your original purchase

 

Delivery

• Moussa Issa Bookstore will use a courier or postal service on your behalf to deliver the books to the address listed on your member profile

• Once your order has been accepted, Moussa Issa Bookstore will endeavour to get the books to you as soon as possible

• Once we have dispatched your book product, you will become the owner of the goods

• Once your parcel has left our building the parcel will become your property.

Liabilities on Delivery

• Should your purchase include a damaged or incorrect book, you need to inform us with clear and full details using the contact us form. You will need to inform us within ten days of receipt of the goods

• Should your ordered books not arrive within 30 days of the order being placed you will need to inform us of this using the contact us.  Moussa Issa Bookstore shall have no liability unless we are informed via the contact us form and within the time frame.

• Moussa Issa Bookstore shall have no liability to you on goods not received, short supplied, received damaged, unless you have notified us of the problem in writing via the contact us form and within the stipulated time frames.

• Moussa Issa Bookstore will not be liable to you for any indirect, consequential loss or damage to your goods, Force Majeure, either in transit to you or in transit back to Moussa Issa Bookstore, or due to circumstances beyond our store’s control.

• Should there be a problem and the above procedures have been followed, Moussa Issa Bookstore will make good any shortage, or non-delivery. Moussa Issa Bookstore reserves the right to use one or more of the following actions, in order to solve the problem:

• Make an attempt to track the order with the courier

• Replace defective, damaged books at Moussa Issa Bookstore expense

• Refund to you the original amount paid via the original method of payment.

Customs

• Customs may apply within your country of destination of books ordered. 

• You may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches your country.

• Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.

• Moussa Issa Bookstore has no control or liability over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

• As the purchaser of book product from Moussa Issa Bookstore you are considered the importer of said book product and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Complaints

• Moussa Issa Bookstore desires to offer a superior customer service to its members.

• It is accepted that in a real world not all things will go according to plan and that issues or disputes may arise. 

• It is our desire to resolve any issues at the earliest opportunity and we invite members who feel their complaint has not been adequately addressed to send a letter to info@moussaissabooks.com 

• All replies to letters received by Moussa Issa Bookstore will be sent via email to the member’s registered email address.

E-Communication

• All communication between you the member and the staff at Moussa Issa Bookstore will happen electronically via email or by posting on the Moussa Issa Bookstore site.

• By entering a contract with us to be a member on the site and to purchase book product from us, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you via your member’s registered email address will satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

• This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
